The FINEST partners met end of May in Leipzig for a great exchange concerning the current state of FINEST.
Traditionally, the meeting was opened by a company excursion. The group of PhD’s and PostDocs visited Aevoloop, where they were well received and given an insightfull overview of the company that strives for easy-to-recycle polymers.
On the second day, the focus was on the scientific exchange. All sub-projects gave updates as well as the director of the research school, the transfer manager, and the coordinator.
The Intersections & Synergies Workshop was dedicated to the activities that should be tackled in the remaining 13 months of the project.
The Impact Workshop thereafter focused on the contribution of FINEST at the C2C Congress in September as well as the design of the final conference FINEST FORUM#2 in 2027.
The third day (Lecture Day) gathered all PhD candidates for an interactive seminar on career perspectives given by Dr. Nicole Körtge in which their ideas, and professional opportunities played the major role.
